During an arthroscopic procedure, your orthopaedic surgeon is able to look at the surface of your joints with the use of a tiny camera. The procedure is often used to diagnose and treat joint problems, perform surgery or monitor disease.
During shoulder or knee arthroscopy a tiny camera is inserted into a joint. Images are displayed on screens for your surgeon to see as he works with small surgical tools.
